So I went out to buy food for my little ones, my pets. And went to the place I really wanted to visit, a gallery with a coffee shop to read this book and to let time pass by. Unfortunately, they closed it, like its no longer there anymore and unknowingly didn’t have my book with me. So I moved on and looked for a place but I can’t find the not so many people place. Got this message from my bff, she’ll be on her way and will join me for dinner. We’re supposed to jog, cancelled it due to the weather, it was raining.
Then I found myself playing arcade instead. That one seat prepared for me. Haha. While I was playing, I chose different fighter from time to time to practice their skill since I’m not quite familiar with them. I used to just play the piano tiles and the money slot machine. As I learned to fight, a new challenger across me wanted to battle with me. Not an AI. I win, I lose. The catch? It’s fun combating to the attack knowing you’re playing with a real person, you just have to wait for the momentum to display your special skill and attack all out, then you win. When a new challenger appears, I heard people at the back watching and rooting for you to win and laugh with their friends whose trying to win as they take turns. These were the moments that you felt the no pressure of losing or winning the game, you don’t have to think about it or your life’s purpose.
Been lying with myself lately, acting out. Well, there are days when life seems colorless, unfeeling, unbecoming. On repeat. Then, I heard myself giggling, making my heart beats fast.
All of us needs an enabling power. You’ll be put under certain circumstances to position yourself, sometimes you have to fight, often times not. It empowers us to do what we can do. It brings us pleasure. You can’t do anything to earn it, all you can do is prepare yourself to accept it when it comes.
When you see His grace, the unmerited gift, poured out upon you like a refreshing waterfall, you no longer have to watch paint dry.
