You’re my summer rain
It comes to me suddenly
Like the scars on my skin
And kisses on my cheeks
Like the summer rain
You’re warm and welcoming
Those little paws and claws
Snatched me on what I’m doing
Like the summer rain
It’s there in a moment, it’s gone in the next
A pain I can’t contain, there’s no one to blame
And time stands still, for my heart to heal
Of all emotions that the rain shows,
It’s being grateful that it pours.
And like a snow in the summer, mirage in the desert
Our time is short, and I miss you forever.
